well i suddenly hate this blog as i did a big one before and tried to add photo...all locked up and lost the lot so going to do photos seperately and short blogs
word came today...ship has sailed from antwerp and will be in southampton tomorrow lunch time ....they had the nerve to say not to be late as ship sailing tea time....haa haa believe that when i see it as is two weeks late already.....very lucky to have long suffering peter , julia and their son markus looking after us here at stonecross, given that we were only coming for 3 days origonally and especially since peter has been a bit crook for last couple of months.....we have enjoyed some good food and a lot of socialising around the main fire in the dining room.....easiest way to put fire into perspective is to say that you could stand an average fresian cow sideways in it.....it is called an inglenook (spelling?) fire and it takes seriously big logs which are brought in on a bag barrow....will ad photo of stonecross later
Marcus here. Been good to have you both here to talk about interesting experiences in NZ, OZ and at see, and also to do a few bits of outdoor work. All the best on your next stage of the trip in a no-window cargo container for 4 weeks! ;-)
